Welcome to Lantern Playgroup

The transition from home to school is an important time in a child’s, (and their parents’), life. At the Lantern Playgroup we understand the importance of this change, and aim to help you and your child to make that transition by providing a safe and welcoming playgroup environment.

Our staff are qualified, professional and friendly, and we are a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance. We are approved to the government standard for National Daycare and this is supported by our excellent Ofsted report.

We will help to develop your child’s social skills and encourage independence and self-confidence in their own abilities and have some fun along the way too!

To us, each child is an individual with their own personality and individual set of needs and strengths and in our safe, caring, and loving environment your child is encouraged to develop to their full potential.

We also offer support to the parents too!
